A kitchen in the heart of Dalarna

Everything is made here, from the pizza dough to the béarnaise. It takes longer. It tastes like it.

Almira sits on Storgatan in the middle of Rättvik, a stone's throw from Lake Siljan. Two kitchens meet here: the Italian one, with pizzas baked to order, and the Swedish one, with beef tenderloin, plank steak and plaice from a proper à la carte list.

In between sit the kebab, the pasta, the salads and the burgers — everyday food that deserves the same thought as a Saturday dinner. Eat in, or take it home.
